    It'll be a long while before the DOT really takes notice..I drove for a company for 3 yrs with ascore of 100% and they were only audited once during that time.

    I agree and then FMCSA can't figure out why so many fatalities.They're bound and determine to think fixing the HOS will reduce accidents when really they should fix the problem with companies and their bad safety performances.

    And in so doing they'll punish the good outfits that operate responsibly. I could comment further but that would be treading political, and we can't do that.

    But, suffice to say, certain folks seem to like to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

    Looks like they're called the Crash, Roll, and Stunt Team for a reason, and it's obvious from the "just been through the war" look all their trucks seems to have.

    I was surprised to see just how bad their safety is.I would like to say when does FMCSA say enough is enough but that never happens till a fatality then we all take the heat.Thats why I think its more about revenue and yes political reasons then anything else.
