Let’s see if CRST drivers untuck their balls and walk or if they stay and ask the company for another.

That is why these trucks need to be equipped with more standard safety measures in which the truck corrects itself. In which rookies have less probability of causing an accident. But what about these owner operators driving like mad men cutting slow moving trucks off then running like cowards?

You can equip a vehicle with all the safety devices you want in the world it will never cure the problem of stupidity and ignorance behind the wheel…

Got passed by several Fed Wrecks on US 54 today and a few others that flirted with head on collisions to go 1, maybe 1.5 mph faster than I was.

Of course there's two different construction zones which have the highway at one lane. At both of those, those trucks ended up being like 100 yards in front of me while we all sat there for 5 or 10 minutes.

    HAMMER DOWN!!!!!

Eventually the driver will be ejected when technology is perfected. Then stupidity behind the wheel will be solved? I do not see it being any worse than a human. In fact humans F'd more than machines. Not now of course too many flaws as the tech is still fresh. Elon Musk sure thinks so and gangs of IT in different manufacturers sure think so. As slowly they painstakingly work the flaws throughout the next years.

Yes I am indeed jealous of owner operators in which I have seen many of them flipped over on the side of the road because they can outrun company trucks but let loose with their road rage. Even though I have been driving for more than 20 years and my house and cars are paid off I am jealous. Even though I can buy my own truck cash as we speak I am jealous. Even though I have accumulated enough savings to retire I am jealous. As you can tell I am being sarcastic. Are you one of those hot heads owner operators? Is that why you are in the defensive? Even so called experts crash if just the right scenario and road rage occurs. I will tell you what I told my friend. My friend was jokingly bragging to me about having lots of money. I replied even people with more money than you have ended up with nothing. Being by restitution or many other ways in which life can surprise you with. Sure enough he got diabetes and died losing everything. Many times pride comes before a fall.

Might as well get used to it. You'll be hard pressed to find companies that don't have at the very least an outward facing camera in the truck. Now, regardless of where you go, you can avoid calls from safety, points, etc, by doing one thing: simply.........wait for it.......drive better.
