Where is your location?
How long were you with CRST; in other words, how much driving experience do you have, in total? 3 months total? JB Hunt is ok, but may be some other choices to compare.Swivvel Thanks this. -
I have had a lot of codrivers so far in the short time ive been driving. I can tell you no codriver is going to be perfect. Up to about 6 months I thought I could barely stand it, then it started getting easier.
The younger drivers always think they know everything and there is nothing they can learn from you. In my case usually its backing. They back better so they think that means they know more about everything. I had a guy a guy for one week that didn't log pretrips and drove over his time by hours. He kept saying "it's ok". I told him don't run over grass when it can be avoided.. Same thing.. "Its ok we have a job to do". I said that because another guy did that and he eventually got stuck in grass and had to be towed out. But what do i know.. My backing sucks.
The guy I am with right now likes to wake me up a lot while hes driving to hand him #### he can't reach. Smokes, house shoes, charger, soda, you name it. But hes a good worker and he DRIVES. So i try to focus on the positive. He drives all hours in most conditions. A lot of guys are solar powered and they shut down a lot making us both late.
It takes a lot of patience man, i know. I just think about the extra money I get and know I'll be solo at some point and hopefully for a lot of years.Swivvel Thanks this. -

I’m in southeast area. Unfortunately leaving CRST. The most important thing is getting back on the road ASAP. I’m not a job hopper I just want to stick with one company and not mess up my csa. SOLO!!! Swift?

JB Hunt is ok; unlike years ago.
Which city/town are you near? Need to know the hiring area you live in.
Do you have endorsements?
You can run Southeast regional with Raven Transport, but there's probably a few others if we know the hiring area you live in.
Danny Herman Trucking has excellent freight lanes and does not run Northeast. Usually stay below I-40. -
As I'm sure you no CRST owned 7 other companies besides Malone. Also the original post was made over a year ago. So by now you have finished your obligation and no your options. You put up with teaming all this time. Your now In a position to make demands.
Swivvel Thanks this. -
People ask questions on here, then don't let us know if the problem was solved.
@Swivvel took over the thread, so hopefully he'll let us know when his questions are answered and problem solved. -
I’m in central Florida with 3 months experience. Never used this site before. I have no endorsements. No accidents. Appreciate everybody’s help. Just want to drive. I know I’m a rookie.Chinatown Thanks this.

my main question is even though I leaving CRST which comp. will put me back in the road ASAP. Solo! I’m ready. Would rather be regional. But I’ve driven in snow up in northwest. My wife called swift. The lady said she would take me(Ocala). But that my best option. How quick on the road?
