I'm hoping someone has had a similar problem. The cruise control works intermittently and will turn off at random times, even while parked (using high idle). The 'idle up' function works as designed which tells me the buttons on the steering wheel are working properly. I've bypassed the clutch and brake switches to eliminate them with no change. Is there a separate speed sensor or possible another sensor that may be causing the issue? My speedometer works as it's supposed to. Thanks!

I have had the same problem with my 07 Sterling MBE 4000 and auto. It is rare for it to happen maybe 5-6 times in the year I owned the truck. When I operate the crane some time the engine will shut off for a split seconds then go right back on but that has only happened 3 times. Never found any problem in the wiring or switch only thing I can think of is the noise filter.
