I don't need it. But I appreciate the thought.
I'm happy to see a qualified person get into the field. I think it's one of the easiest gigs out here.
Where else you gonna truck, get home each night(later on) and do a million in 8 years?

We also have a clause that if we are delayed we can turn a mileage run into an hourly one.
Weather, construction, accidents or detours.
We need to average 57mph to equate the hourly rate.
We just put on 5 new drivers so after they are trained in, if they all stick, the hours may drop a bit. -

I didn't work a single OT day but have worked all holidays so far which Is 2 and 1/2 times pay.scott180 Thanks this. -
I had a interview on Friday. I'm a little nervous about the idea of team driving but if it get me in the door. The terminal manager is new but seems nice. He did dispatch for awhile so he likely knows how to deal with problems. There was another fellow there as well who was above him and just helping the new manager settle in. Both seemed like I could work for them.
Now it's just a wait and see if they feel I'd be a good fit for them or not. -
