If I am stopped for speeding and I am not issued a payable ticket, only a violation, is this put on my personal record or only company CSA data?

I got a violation for a burned out marker light on the tanker during a level one. Got one point on my record for three years, I assume so did the company. You get the points, they get the points.

Were you in your personal vehicle? That might be the difference.

If it is on a DOT inspection report only and you did not receive a ticket, you will get CSA points. But it should not go on your MVR.
