CSA Points on a inspection

    Was parked in a rest area in MD in a truck slot . Got woke up by the DOT told I could not stay there . Made to move to next exit
    Did a level 2 with no violations .. Have me a warning for

    Failure to obey traffic control device .392.2c . said I couldn't take a 10 hr break in rest area. With truck slots .. Did not see any sign .
    Was in a spot not a ramp ..

    how many points this gonna hit me for and can I fight it.

    The severity rating is a 5 ...

    I " HAD " a perfect csa score and want to keep it that way if I can cause I wasn't in the wrong in my thoughts ..

    any help appreciated

    You weren't taking a 10 hour break, you were taking an 8 or a 2 hour break (whichever fits your book) to accommodate the split sleeper provision. What exactly did the sign say? Kind of hard to fight a warning ... maybe file a complaint for starters ...

    warnings are worse then violations
    you cant fight them

    What about this data Que thing I've heard about. ?

    The guy asked me if I was in the service and then gave me a warning cause he said he wouldn't ticket a VET ... lol

    the guy with 0 points says 15 is bad
    guy with 100 says wishes he was you
    there are different categories bother companies more then illegal parking

    Ok I'm just the guy who thinks 15 is bad cause I've had a zero my entire career never had a ticket and 14 level 1 inspections with Zero violations ... even today was 0 but got a stupid warning ...

    would you just Leave it alone or fight it if able

    That's a bad system when the driver has no recourse but it's they way the industry is turning now so it seems
