It has to be that the OP was misinformed about his point total. I just checked mine the other day and I saw no point total anywhere. It list violations, violation #, OOS violations, no points anywhere on mine. I would post it if it didn't have all my personal info. I know one can figure out the points, which is why I think someone calculated wrong. All that being said, I'm sorry OP but I agree with DrtyDiesel, It's up to you to check everything out and make sure it's ok to go down the road. Of all the inspections that I've had, I've had only one bad thing for equipment which was a ABS light & I knew it was out. I get compliments from DOT on how my truck is maintained & that's because I spend allot of money maintaining it. So I don't feel bad if someone gets popped for any of the equipment issues that you got popped for, especially if your a O/O. If DOT popped everyone for stuff like this it would be better for the industry. Anyway, I wish you luck and hope you can get on with a company and make a living.

From what I understand your score is based on the last 3 years of inspection data and the last 5 years of crash data, with more recent violations holding more weight.

well I will call ######## because based off the information you find on the CSA website for FMCSA, I cannot see any way that he can get 110 points.

I am trying to understand this and see where the points come from, but I don't see it.

Even WITH the modifiers for it be X3 for first year, it comes to 69 points.

So unless Meltom can show the line values for how he comes up with it,

    It's not possible.

Your numbers look legit, I don't really feel like putting the effort in to verify it.

I feel bad for the OP, but I still don't see how CSA has cost/is costing/will cost you a job with one inspection.

for me it brings up the question....

What's the "threshold" really for termination or intervention for a company. I read the information. But each category seems to have it's own separate conditions

Hello Jack. Help me out here, because I think I am missing something.

Even with 110 CSA points on your scorecard (not your license), all warnings, nothing out of service, that by itself does not make you an unsafe driver.

Have potential employers told you that you were considered an "unsafe driver"? What reasons have they given you?

The threshold is the insurance companies. They review every driver's "points". What they do not like, then they are history.

There is probably a bit more to this story than is let on. There could be points from another inspection. There could be points from a "reason" to be pulled over.

The problem is that there are many on here who will degrade any poster just to make themselves look important and self righteous.

Your posts were just of inquiry.

I imagine the answer to that question varies from company to company depending on what you do, who you drive for, how often you brought your dispatcher or broker donuts...

One thing I learned in researching this....

You cannot have any one item give you more than 10 points. As 10 points is THE most severe issues and highest value given for a safety issue.

    It's only a range of 1-10
