I had a friend who was pulled over for a level one at a DOT scale in Iowa. He was cited for not signing his log book and excessive tint on the sleeper window (top window) on a freightliner columbia. He got hit with 37 points on those 3 voilations and his company fired him for logbook falsification. But how can they cite the tint? Those trucks come with it standard? Now he has accumilated 59 points on his psp report and no reputable carrier will hire him? Wow, his violations consisted of 2 level one inspections and was cited on both times for lights out, no DOT tape on trailer, and the excessive tint. Wich was kind of weird cause every truck has that kind of tint.
