Well, as I said, this is a completely unrelated, reefer outfit that has the same name. I'm kind of eyeing them as a second job as I'm applying towards a local, set schedule, trailer shagging outfit. It's 42 hours/3.5 days on/3.5 days off a week, so that'll give me enough time to get their casual, 1-2 turns a week done on their relay board.

No openings for relay at this time. But the recruiter said one could run as little as one load a month, or as many as regular driver. Slip seating when you decide to stop for however long you tell them and then come back. Seems quite gravy. I live an hour and a half from their Amarillo yard, so going in on my presumed off days with this other company every other week shouldn't be that bad.
I thought about doing the same with where I'm at right now. But no dice. -
speedyk and bentstrider83 Thank this.

As far as Kimrad goes, they're kind of a mixed bag as far as reputation goes and I'm not too sure about them. Might work out, might not.
Only reason I'm thinking of doing the 3.5 night/week job here in Clovis and the relay position in Amarillo, again, is due to the flexibility involved. I'm single and my income needs aren't all that great. So the more time I could get off for road trips and other personal fart-arounds, the better.
I'm just trying to stay away from all the strict, micromanaging, work-a-holic gigs at this point.Last edited: Jan 27, 2019

As far as driver-facing cameras go over there, I guess I'll just have to leave the phone and everything at home. Load some 1-2 hour long ghost stories podcasts into the classic, push button IPod and plug in the audio jack. I mean, if it's just turns and terminal runs one does over there, I could survive without the phone.USMC 3531 Thanks this. -

AQE? Is that still part of Saia?
