What can this engine be turned up to? I know it's 370hp, but how far can you go? 410, 425? Can't find much on the 370e+ but have found some info on the M11 in general, and it appears there are 2 M11 configurations. M11 and M11 Celect Plus. I'm guessing this is the Celect Plus? Looking for something 400hp+, but this one is in my budget. Just curious how much I can turn it up. Still want reliability though. Thanks for the help. Oh, and it's in a 1997 T800 if that helps. Thanks again!

Get a N14. The one I have in a 99 volvo has the 370/460 hp program. It can be turned up with just a electronic tune. To see what your engine can be turned to per the original specks, take the engine serial number to a Cummins dealer and have them look it up for you. You can call the regional Cummins distributor and have them look it up. These old trucks are cheap, so get on with a reliable motor. The one I got is just $6000. Good luck with finding a truck.

Don't know much , but I have M 11 370hp and it had the emc flashed I think and had a 400plus Hp in it when I got it . Had Freightliner reflash or reprogramed the emc because it started missingup and put it back to 370hp . EMC works ok now but sure do miss the extra HP .

So the M11 Celect Plus can be turned up electronically and the M11 has to be turned up with hard parts? Anyone know the year they started the Celect Plus? I'm looking at a 96 and a 97 model. The guy with the 96 doesn't know if it's a Celect Plus or not. The 97 just said it was a 370e+ which from what I can tell is a Celect Plus. As much as I would like to have an N14 or ISX I can't find one in a single axle truck, and the tandem trucks I have found are already near my budget and removing an axle or shortening the frame would put me over my budget. I still have a trailer to buy as well.
