i have a 2021 PETERBILT 348 with a PACCAR px9 which initially had a code 1922 and 5177 and some other codes. i managed to reset dpf reset to lower to to 1921 to regenerate but no luck in removing codes 1921 and 5177. changed 2 dpf sensors..checked if clogged upon taking out one of the differential sensors and still blew air to clean out and eventually removed dpf to get cleaned and re-installed. then once again reset dpf installation settings on insite as well as recalibrate ecm but code still doesnt go away. Anybody have any insite or experience same issue? same codes are still active.

5177 is turbo vgt actuator issues. Either actuator itself or turbo swing vane is sticky in its travel. 5177 will also relate to 1922 because turbo is not properly operating. Has it had a recent egr cooler failure? What we do is pull head pipe off turbo or at inlet of dpf
and check for black smoke on accel, multiple times. Then hold it on floor wfo and watch for smoke. Egr failure packs dpf stored ash into a rock hard substance that restricts outlet and lights fault lamp. If smokes on throttle test injectors are bad

Usually 6 months after egr cooler dumps coolant into exhaust, dpf starts giving problems
