I'll try and post some pics and serial # today, motor is sealed and still in crate and sitting in my temp. controlled garage, I don't think it has a jake, serial # should give all that info.

Hey Deo, the serial# is 4CEX-0540LAE Production# is 46360999 Date of Manufacture 12/22/2003 Motor is 400hp/1250tq

As you can see by the pics, it has never been unbolted from the shipping cradle, also all of the factory seals, plugs, and filters are on it, so nothing was open to the air.

It was about 13,000 and change new, I would like to get as close to 10,000 as possible, you would be hard pressed to find a good LOW mileage ISL for under 7500.00 complete.

Also, depending on selling price, I can help with shipping in the lower 48.

It's a non EGR motor, EGR didn't start till a couple of years later on the 8.9's and the original application was for a diesel pusher motor home, that's why the valve cover looks different. Back in the late nineties your Cummins were black, unless you had a "redtop' motor usually the larger/ higher hp motors.

It would have been spec'ed with an Allison 3000 series tranny. What app. are you trying to use it for?
