I have a 2005 Kenworth T800 with a Cummins ISL in it. During the summer it'll start and run fine all day, But when the mornings get colder it has an irritating problem sometimes. It'll start fine, and idle for anywhere from 3-8 minutes and just quit. Even if I start it, and drive it right away taking it above idle, it still randomly dies. It'll start up again after a couple minutes of turning it over, and then it'll be fine for the rest of the day. Any ideas?

i had a 05 w9 with isx.
there's a wiring harness that runs from the engine along the frame to the starter motor. one of the wires ran from the computer to the starter solenoid. and had a small section that was bare of insulation. so when it touched the frame. it acted like a short and the motor shut down.
something to maybe look at if you have any harnesses in the frame.
