Does anyone have a diagram or picture that points out all the sensors on a cm871. Both sides would be great.

Is the aftertreatment injector the same as the dozer injector? I think the dozer injector is on the DPF...???

Well actually its called the doser injector and its part of the after treatment system. It is located on the back side of the doser injector chamber. The chamber is attached to the exhaust side of the turbo. Just undo the clamp holding it to the turbo and you can look straight into the chamber and visualize the doser injector port to see if it is clear or clogged with baked on carbon. Here is what the port looks like inside the injector chamber when it is clean.

The one for the DPF system is the AHI, Aftertreatment Hydrocarbon Injector. The one for the SCR system is the DEF Dosing Valve.

I tried to buy a dozer injector here in Denver today - no one has one... hard to believe!

Were you checking at Cummins or a dealership? Cummins should have it in stock but a dealership is iffy and they will charge you more too.

Never got a chance to replace the doser injector since I've run every day for the last 3 weeks trying to catch up from all the repair bills! I run loose leaf logs... LOL Been getting 5.4 to 5.8mpg running mostly light loads. Picked up a heavier one yesterday, grossing 90K. Coming out of Olympia WA to Spokane today the truck felt like it wouldn't pull a greasy string out of a cat's ###. As I pulled off the road it threw a code... sigh. I'm seriously thinking of trading this POS off...

So, took the truck into Cummins. The new (to me) dpf filter is cracked. Volvo dealer replaced with a used one they had refurbished but did not update the calibration on the ecm. $2,672 for the filter and gaskets plus labor. Computer shows old dpf was not calibrated right so the I think the Volvo dealer is going to make me whole on this. We will see.
I did not mind the refurbished filter since they did it for free after I bought the truck. If they treat me well, I will buy my next truck from this dealer.
