I’m working on a M11 Celect Cummins in a toter home. It had intermittent issues and then just wouldn’t start. We believed it to be an ecm issue, so that was replaced. Then it would start and run above 750rpm with a slight miss, but won’t idle. The owner had previously tried to get it going by changing the cam and coolant sensors. Any ideas what’s going on?

Sounds like a timing issue if it runs on higher rpm but won’t idle. Specially if the cam was replaced

I am have a same kind of issue runs for 6 hours (start and stop) then while driving it will suddenly go to idle and shut down. let it sit and it will start and run for a bit. not throwing or storing any codes. I have replaced cam sensor and updated wiring harness. fuel pressure and vacuum are all within parameters. any suggestions of where to look would be greatly appreciated
