I recently spent less than $500 and got the best tune of my life!!!!!( I also got that thing deleted)

Went from 455 to 565HP
My fuel has picked WAAAAAY up...
Charlotte to Rochester NY via Harrisburg PA 10klbs 9.0mpg
Syracuse to Charlotte 42k 7.5mpg
And pulls like a beast!!!!!KB3MMX, broadsword, QuietStorm and 1 other person Thank this. -
I know the guys with yellow engines hate hearing about other motors. My sleeper cab is a detroit. 518hp to tires on stock tune. Waiting for engine to have some more miles on it before putting tune in it. Its only .5mpg better than N14.
NWAF Thanks this. -
I dont drive them hard. But had to step on the N14 just you know for scientific purpose. I let out of it at 46psi of boost with auto meter mechanical gauge. On chassie dyno 625hp was with 41psi. They were concerned with dyno.

transmission, driveline and powertrain running strong, people complain turning a 350hp cummins that high, what you gotta check is the cpl number, this one happens to be a 2025 cpl which means it uses the same parts as a 525 n14, meaning the transmission, driveline and engine can handle 525hp rerate, the stock turbo is actually a really good turbo. the truck Is a old worn out truck that's been through its time, it is used one day a week to haul crushed cars and scrap steel from pick n pull to schnitzer steel, from Vancouver, WA to Portland, OR. basically the trucks gonna be retired, figured why not turn it into a puller or just to prove the fact this old thing can make more power than a brand new maxed out factory motor.

if I was looking to make it a daily driver, and had power as well as mpg in mind, I would've done a 410hp rerate, along with water methanol alone, figure at 5mpg average and an average of 50mph, that's about 10 gallons per hour consumed, if I wanted to run roughly 20% water methanol id get something like a 15lb/hr water nozzle, which would end up being about 2.5 gallons an hour or 25% water injection, with a mix of 1/2 gallon of boost juice to 2 gallons of water, get the most for my money, burn cleaner, maximize fuel consumption. more power means more fuel and more air, reduce the amount of fuel and air flow and lose power, compensate 25% of the fuel for water and methanol = equivalent or more power for less fuel cost
KB3MMX Thanks this.
