Cummins N14 miss at idle

Well had the same issue with a truck that came in lots of power no miss under load,its a full rebuild,tried 12 injectors because it is over fuelling at idle and has a awful half miss on a few cylinders,its a N14 460E plus CPL2025 witch calls for injector # 3411763RX, now apparently there was a product update after it left the factory ,how i found this ,i called cummins direct and just by luck i got someone with a ton of knowledge that knew where to look and this engine was suppose to have injector #3411762RX go figure, after a ton of hrs this is all it was .

 

Thanks for the update. Have the same engine cpl 2025 with a very slight miss, no loss of power or smoke but thinking it could be time for some injectors.

 

Yes prob time for injectors,make sure the # on injector is checked on old ones, i would be curious to see what is in your engine with same CPL.
