Do you have a picture of how bad it is? It is likely normal. They have blow by tubes for a reason. You will get some slobber with any older engine. They will never be perfectly dry. You will get some soot, oil vapours and regular moisture condensation all mixed to look like oil droplets. Oil consumption and low power are indicators of excessive blowby. If you aren't losing oil, I would drive it.

if it breathes then so be it. if its still performs and doesn't consume too much oil just continue operation and attempt to minimize idle time, or set high idle when stationary.
as for the mess, just extend the breather tube to about 3 inches off the ground. it will help a lot.
I would do an oil sample to confirm engine serviceability at next service.MrWilk81, Dino soar, Final Drive and 3 others Thank this. -
Yeah, I would just put an extension hose on it too like DieselTech mentioned.
Final Drive and joey8686 Thank this. -
All good ideas, thanks everyone,so basically it’s probably not a big deal and get an oil sample tested to confirm nothing major is wrong or fuel dilution happening

Typical oil consumption for my N14 is about a gallon for the first 9,000 miles. When I need a second gallon I change the oil. Usually around 15,000
joey8686 Thanks this.
