Cummins N14 Stumbles on light acceleration

Thanks, will try that, last winter it did not need a cover, so I gotta find what's not working properly. Would hooking it up to a computer be the best way for checking t-stats?

 

I don't think so. Unless you have a code warning, it doesn't show in computer.
You can put higher or lower temperature thermostats in. I use cummins brand. They seem to seal better in the housing.
I do my own install, so it only cost the price for parts.

 

I think some use a heat gun to read temperature out to radiator

Change your fuel filter to a fleet Guard
filter # FF 105 are a a matching brand of your choice. This will make your N 14 start much quicker. Works great on my N 14 Cummins.
