Cummins N14 turbo is bad! Increasing power from 435hp to 525hp

The wire that is snipped off in the photo is next to the middle two cylinders by the jake brake wires. There is no removable plug, the thing it's attached to is threaded into the block.
The other plastic wire connector where you can see the pins but nothing is plugged in is next to the front two cylinders closest to the radiator. -
When the turbo leaks oil on the exhast side raw unburned oil is present in the exhast pipe. -

On the holset turbo there should be no in and out play. Side to side is acceptable as long as it's not touching the sides.

Be careful what you wish for as far as up-rating your HP/torque. The N14 was known for block fretting which resulted in spun bearings and other mayhem. I believe they came out with a stiffener plate much like CAT uses to help combat this problem. I worked for a Cummins distributor until 2000 and the 460/1650 rating seemed to be the best all around for performance, mileage and longevity.
