The ones in SA do not have all the emission bits.
Regen is a foreign concept.
Easy to get 650HP out of it by just the better breathing it is allowed compared to being smothered with the emission crap.

The worst is when the salespeople try tell you the trucks with Add Blue (Pee injection) are more economical.
2 years ago I had the Scania guys saying their 620 was more economical because of it.
When I asked them if they knew what that stuff was and how it worked they had no Idea.
When I told them it was Urea (Pee) they thought I was joking.
It is still way better than the regen systems.
Modern trucks are really reliable if it was not for emission stuff and poor quality signal wiring.
I found the best was what is termed Euro 3 that would make th.em 2000 to about 2010 models here in the uncivilised bottom end of Africa.
