There's no average or standard. Being independent means just that, each driver does what makes sense to them. Once the bills are paid, you are free to pick.

    I think everyone is different.

I'd like to be home more often... but living in Fla doesnt help.. even being an O/O. It just too much of a hassle.

I have a set amount of money I need to NET when I go out. Once I reach my number, I head home. Depending how things go, it can happen in 3 weeks or 6 weeks. Just depends.

When I get home I'm usually there for at least 10 - 14 days before I head back out.

Right now I havent seen Fla since July. I had some truck issues and pretty much depleted my savings.

So the way its going now... I wont be able to breath easy until mid Nov-ish. Thinking about getting home Dec 20th and just take January off.

  6. that sounds like a company ride.

@Hurst & @TripleSix are on point. You have the control of "how long you want to be rolling".

Could you imagine that income by a real owner op? not a lease rent etc etc. especially if he had a paid off truck.
11 months on the road pretty much means you don't have a wife, kids,gf,pets, maybe parents and no friends. Money motivated lol, we know #### well no owner op by choice stays out more than 4 to 6 weeks on average with a family at home.

Nope not a company ride. I do entertainment and I choose to stay out that long. Wife rides along with me most of the time so need to go home that often.

I usually stay out a couple of weeks. It all depends on what's moving where.
