We see all the comments, so I'm curious. Who here has actually had their front end ripped off (or otherwise damaged) by a swift truck. I'll start. I was backed into in a spot while I was sitting in the driver's seat and blowing the horn when he hit me. This was in '09. He didn't do much damage. Just pushed my bumper into the steer tire. Let's hear some stories!

Got backed into by a swift guy backing into a spot across the drive from me. He jacked knifed that trick right into me.

Got backed into by one at the J in Avoca IA. Ripped off my antenna on the side of my Cascadia, ripped off the cover for the plug in, scrapped the paint and dented the cab on the sleep with right side end of his trailer. Ripped in passenger side mirrors and ate the fiber glass on the hood of the guy next to me. That should tell you how screwed up his backing attempt was. He told me he didn't think he was that steep and could still jackknife it without hitting my truck.

I had one turn into me at an intersection. I was at a stop sign at a T intersection. He turned left like it was a car and bent my bumper some. It was a student driving
with the "trainer" in the bunk. Also it was a blue truck different than most of their trucks. This happened between 2006-09 I can't remember exactly. I have had
much worse damage happen from a Werner truck where the whole hood got tore off at a shipper.

Had one drag the last 1/3 of his trailer across my hood at one of our distribution centers. In front of the shipping office in a bobtail only area no less.

Wide ### open and mad because he couldn't read the numbers on his paperwork. Tandems all the way to the rear and made a left way too soon and way too fast right across my hood.

Then tried to deny it after me and a witness chased him down to where he parked till I showed him my crunched hood and the big black stripe down the last 1/3 of his trailer.

A left turn across somebody's hood is even worse than getting backed into lol completely preventable

As a Swift trainee I bent a tankers dot bumper in Eloy, AZ a few years back. Still feel bad so J.J. out of Houston sorry again! However I still drive for Swift (local) so I have a reputation to live down to so I've been stalking the perfect truck to back into. Haven't run into the right one yet (bad pun) but I'll keep an eye out.

Never got hit by swift but ive been hit twice and not from a mega but an owner op. Go figure. Last one hit my bumper and when the guy spotting him told him he hit me, the jackbutt took off. To see a driver haul butt out of the lot like that was funny to see. Oh well, company has insurance.

Swift didn't set his brakes and rolled downhill into the side of my trailer. Tore the front of his truck. He had only been driving about 6 months...said it would ruin his chance of becoming a mentor....

Actually I kinda felt bad for the guy, I just don't understand how you can stop after backing into a spot and then hop in the bunk without setting your brakes......
