Curious. Who has actually been backed in to by a swift driver?

I haven't been hit by a Swift truck yet. But have been hit by both Prime and J.B Hunt.

 

I'm really starting to hate the mega chain truck stops. I just wasted 5 hours of my life trying to get one silly tire patched at the TA in Hebron OH. (Tire still isn't fixed...left in disgust and vowed to never return.) Anyway, the tom-boobery at some of these places is astounding.

 

I was parked at the Kwik Fill at mm 133 I80 in PA. The lot was fairly empty, but Swift decided to park right next to me. He was jackknifed, and hit the sleeper, but didn't even know it. I got out, while he straightened up. After he finished I asked him about how hard it was to park, especially if he had pulled straight, he could have parked 50' away from anything. His trainer was hopeful this would have gotten the guy terminated.

 

Never had an issue with Swift backing into me, but CR England decided to do a blind side back for no reason and took out the front of my truck.

 

Cab Overs and 48's are cool , hoods and 53's are nerdy , Sir . It should be the other way around

 

CRST hit the right rear corner of my trailer once, no real damage but took off before I could outta the bunk

 

The scary parts is that lately their trucks have actually been looking better than most. The last two times I saw a CR England truck both trucks were Western Star 5700XE Stratosphere sleeper cab models.

 

I thought that swift trainers teach how to hit trucks...page 132 in their training manual

 

Never a swift but had a club car truck drag the last 1/4 of his trailer across the driver side headlight, fender mirror, fender, and bumber leaving the fuel island at a pilot up on i57

 

Backed into last August by one of their owner-operators. He offered me $100. The damages and downtime came to over $2000.
