    Remember to as and o/o you will need a decent vehicle to service your truck needs, and the wife's car will not cut it when your at home and she need new skin and you go pick them up 150 miles away at a steal.

    Yes I often do. I just wanted to save up some money before I have to go into training to run flatbeds. Plus there's a lot more potential in leaving these boxes ie oversized loads.

    did not finish reading your book look young man don't rush out to buy are lease a truck put two years under your belt at least please don't make that needs to be your own boss so you can make it shine learn the business first you are not qualify to be o/o don't get burn I have given 24ys to trucking ok I started at 21 I did not buy my first truck then why because I had someone that show me the way there was no lease to own truck then ok at 24 I buy my first truck what I say buy ok I lay out 25000 and I had a nice nest egg to back me up you will not make it I am sorry to say I am about to be 46 know I got divorced and it killed me ok know I have to lease just to make a few dollars more than a company driver and some times it doesn't even work out that way

    What do you mean? I don't have a wife at home so that's no option anyway. Why would you need a car at home to service your rig? The way I'm running now I'm rarely within 500 miles of home.

    Ouch. That's why I'm asking for suggestions, don't want to sink in that boat. Why don't you go back to company driver then?

    Im not going to say you can't be successful but it's many things to it up and down 800 one week 200 the next go home and -100
