    Since rates for dry van right now are well north of $2/mile I would say at least $2700 to the truck after there cut

    I average 2.50 for all miles now, however I would give a discount for reliable dedicated freight. If I'm leased on to the company, I'd do it of 2.25 per mile, all miles. On my own, 2.50. So 2,925 or 3,250 based on roundtrip miles.

    Not nearly enough info for answer, if the rate is high enough then sure. You need money to run empty also. In the powder world everthing is figured at 50 percent empty. In the freight world not so much. So the dollars will tell.
