Cut on steer tire sidewall Need change? Thank you

    I don't like to take chances when it comes to steers, because a blowout on that steering axle can do a whole lot of damage. If it were my tire, I'd be getting new steers, but I'd be comfortable running that tire on a trailer. I'd still keep an eye on it, though.

    It will fail over time. It’s a weak spot with continued use and side wall flexing will cause it to open up.
    It’s not an immediate concern, but as others mentioned keep a close eye on it.
    I had one myself and I’d say within two months it failed, fortunately I was in a yard when it let go..
