Dang i missed the whole wreck , i was waiting for it to happen to the cam truck. But someone was definatly watching over that guy. No oncoming traffic, kept it upright. Crazy how fast something can happen like that

Update: drove from Los Angeles to Modesto CA, the sidewall cut looks the same, so is the area that’s missing tread rubber. I heard Michelin steer tires are tough, and they are so new (all 10 virgin new tires when I bought the truck Jan this year), between the insane diesel price, high insurance and truck payment, I’m not sure I should observe the tire during every break and pre/post trip inspections, and prolong the tire life before I replace them…
By the way, thank you all for the feedbacks, may the angels of the roads watching over you.D.Tibbitt and shooter19802003 Thank this. -

I'd run it and watch it carefully....personally.

On my truck any tire that gets a puncture or slice to the sidewall I change it. Damage like yours I would change it when I got to my favorite tire dealer. Within a couple thousand miles.
I try not to save $500 and have it cost $5,000.
Sidewall cuts make me nervous.
Good luck.D.Tibbitt, Hammer166, Alvin L and 1 other person Thank this. -

Depends on the tread depth.
I had a nail in one today. Only one got changed. But only one got changed not too long ago. Can't remember why.
So I've got new steers. But a few months apart.Alvin L and shooter19802003 Thank this. -
Alvin L, shooter19802003 and Diesel Dave Thank this.
