I stayed home and used that time to be productive and replace all my “chafed” air lines.

How do they know they stayed home? Did they have certain types to target for quotas and didn’t see enough of them? Or did all those drivers call in to the dot switch board and tell them they were taking the week off?

I generally park during a blitz if I can… Not because I know there is anything wrong, but I figure I don’t wanna be a moving target for them to check if anything is wrong. And if they look, my opinion is they generally find something. Gotta make sure you’re earning that salary!

Didn’t they take in consideration that the economy is slow, inflation, equals less trucks on the road.

Can't rely on any app that relies on input from the truckers. Truckers like to play games.

Tehachapi eastbound is always open. Yet it hasn't been open in decades.

They say they had fewer inspections because more drivers were off the road, and that is total BS.
I ran all 3 of those days and I didn't get pulled in, and there were still way enough trucks on the road to pull in how ever many they wanted to pull in.

That only means next year, they won't even tell you when the blitz is. It'll just happen. Besides, I don't see what difference it makes. Many places aggressively stay doing inspections all year....ahem....Ohio.
