How do they know they stayed home? Did they have certain types to target for quotas and didn’t see enough of them? Or did all those drivers call in to the dot switch board and tell them they were taking the week off?

Didn’t they take in consideration that the economy is slow, inflation, equals less trucks on the road.

Tehachapi eastbound is always open. Yet it hasn't been open in decades.hope not dumb twucker and Deere hunter Thank this. -
They say they had fewer inspections because more drivers were off the road, and that is total BS.
I ran all 3 of those days and I didn't get pulled in, and there were still way enough trucks on the road to pull in how ever many they wanted to pull in.hope not dumb twucker, Deere hunter, Accidental Trucker and 3 others Thank this. -
That only means next year, they won't even tell you when the blitz is. It'll just happen. Besides, I don't see what difference it makes. Many places aggressively stay doing inspections all year....ahem....Ohio.
