so i picked up my " Cyber Trucker Lap-Top seat Mount " at the M.A.T in ky a few weeks back... i THOUGHT that i good deal on it...
this this a hunk of crap!!!! buyer-beware!!
this thing has rubbed a bad scuff in the back of my laptop
it has all these rubber things that protect it from the screws and i guess so it has something soft to sit on....
when you buy this crap... you can go online and view a website on installin this thing... the video is soooo worthless..its sooooo hard to see what he is doing in the video... he is using a black seat with the black mounting of the seat... the mounting brackets for the lap-top stand are all black.. so you cant see what the hell is doing!... soooo stupid!!!! HE EVEN MESSES UP in the video and trys to act like he ment to do that!! what a joke!
the rubber things have all fallen off!!! its like they were held on with honey not heavy duty glue...
i have had to tighten the screws 3 times already.. dont matter how tight i put them.. they still rattle loose.
im pissed!!!!
i payed $200 for this hunk of ####!
i bought it because it mounts to the actual seat not the floor..and the reason i chose to buy this is because my seats turn around to face the back and i like to wacth tv and movies on my computer.... he assured me the seat will still be able to turn around... bull!!! they cant!!!!
i should have just got the floor mount set up
i dont know if anyone els has ever used this... but this thing sucks!!
the only good things are the 2 coolin fans under the stand...
on a scale from 1-10...i give it a 1
you cant keep the top part of the mount on it and have someone sit in the passanger side... i have moved it many different ways..
crap!!!

First I would like to offer this customer a full refund if that is what is requested. Contact info is on the cybertrucker website to start this process. Next I would like to respond to the attack on the product and the video. I am the guy in the video and the inventor and founder of CyberTrucker. It was at the request of many drivers that I put the product on the market and I have 10s of thousands of satisfied drivers that use the product. I am embarrassed by this post and only wish to let every one know that every effort will be made to address every point in this post. Any driver coming through Tulsa Oklahoma that has a problem with the product should contact us so we can help with any issue.

I took a look at the product, how it mounts, and if it would actually be of any real benefit. Couldn't come to believe it would be worth the cost. But then I probably wouldn't even use it if it was free. But that's me. One thing nice is that a product like this is available to those that feel the need to have it. I have no need to use the laptop any time the truck is moving, and the steering wheel or the desk in my bunk area serves my needs well when stopped. I guess I view the product as a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.

no you can not mount them on any seats that rotate in any direction
no your fans don't do anything but make noise to make us believe it cools the bottom of the laptop down.

at MATS in 2010 you promised you would email me a receipt, never got it, no surprise
its to late for you to address every point in this post, its been a year and a half.
Oh, and by the way, you couldn't refund me my money because you never emailed me my receipt like you promised,

I bought it directly from you at the truck show.
Folks, I'm not here to bash Roy himself, just his false information, and lack of knowledge of ALL truck seats as he claimed to know about them all.
This product truly is not worth $200.00
its not even worth the " Special " price of $179 that he has going on.
the free tri pod mount he " gives " you is pointless, how often has anyone ever seen someone standing around with their laptop mounted on a tripod anywhere?
I gave that tripod to my girlfriend for her camera.

I trully believe you have just had an install problem that went unaddressed. I have personally installed on rotating seats before. Our phone is answered by a over an over the road driver that likes his laptop stand and he reports every complaint to me. If you had called with any problems we would have helped. I am not advertising I am just joining in the discusion. I have checked all emails and for anything from you. I can't find any. If you come to Tulsa I will meet you at Flying J with a new laptop stand and install it for you so that it works properly. No charge. It is possble that your reciept may have been emailed to an incorrect address. Please call and talk to Tony at 866-552-9237. Call anytime if we don't happen to answer, we do call back. You don't need a reciept for a refund just the product. I do not lie to drivers ever. I am sorry you had a bad experience with the product, what can I do to fix this? How can I help you? If you still have the product we will give you a refund with out a reciept. I do not want to cross any lines about advertising but those cooling fans really do help the laptop. All bolts have iether locking nuts or lock washers. If they came off they were not tightened or put together right. Nobody here is out get to you, I trully just want to fix the issue.

Roy, there is no fixing the issue, its been a year and a half!
i dont have the stand anymore, nor the box, i live in a truck, no room to keep the box, or the stand.
You can check your emails all you want, you dont know my name, and i sure wont post it on here, or any online forum for that matter.
I have placed many calls to the number givin, and never once had a return call.
I have sent many emails, with no email in return.
I gave you my email address when you took my cc and ran it, you took email, and put it directly in the computer, directly in front of me, asked me to verify, and I did, it was correct.
i run the east coast, i dont go west so stopping by is out of the question.
I came here to let fellow drivers know to steer clear of this product, because as an american thats my right, and because i look out for others.
You may have custumers that are happy with their product, but 10's of thousands i doubt it.... i can promise you have more un happy customers then happy, hands down!
im not going to mention your competitors name, but they are dependable and stand behind their products, AND they actually call you back in a timly manner, not a year and half later...
and yes you do lie Roy, tell me how your supposed to mount the brackets to the seat, and the Seatbelt mount, when the Seat belt is mounted to the FLOOR and NOT the seat...
theres no way of doing it... your design goes from the bottom of the seat all the way around the the other side, and uses the seat belt mount along with the seat that you put those 2 brackets on the front.

How? He doesnt want to let me know who he is and he has never called us. I am beginning to think the guy is less than sincere in wanting a solution. Am I supposed to write a check to anyone claiming to have had a bad experience. The guy has no reciept, no product and no identity. If you sold him something a year and half ago and just now heard he was unhappy and had no proof not even any part of the product would you give him money? All the man has to do is call.
