cyber-trucker laptop stand...errr!

Everett, maybe that how you like to do things,
however, when i spend any amount of money and any product, i shouldnt have to go to any store and buy anything to fix it, or adjust it.
if i wanted to go to the store and buy things to fix it, i would have just gone all the way and built my own.
however, clearly the difference between you and i, you are a do it your selfer, and im the type that takes my car to the shop to have the wipers changed.

anyway,
as over a week has passed since I have talked to Tony, Roy's installer helper, i have not heard from Roy him self, or anyone els at cyber trucker.
I know i said id call if i had not heard from anyone, however, thing have come up over the past few days and did not have a minute to call anyone.

Yesterday, the 2nd, my wife called and told me that I had a card in the mail from Cyber Trucker, it was a Halmark card.
I told her to open it up and see what it was all about.
The card was a Sympathy card....

the out side,

Now, i am not making fun of, nor am I bashing the card.
however, this just seems like a very odd card to recieve along with a refund in full.
Inside the card was a check, for the amount of $199.95, ALONG with my reciept from over a year ago. I know its my reciept because it had my information on it that i did not give Tony, the only Cyber-Trucker related person I spoke with.

so, as Roy asked in a previous post, that I be fair in return, and report my refund here.
So, folks, im more shocked then anything els to report, that Roy DID stand behind his word. Roy asked me for my name, ( gave it to Tony ) and said he would look it up on his computer.
Roy also said that a year and a half does not change the fact that he had an unsatisfied customer, and would issue a refund in full.
I do have a check, sitting right be side me as i type, along with the odd sympathy card tho, my last name is spelled wrong which could lead to a problem, which dosnt seem right, cause my last name was spelled right on the card, but not the check....
we will see what my bank has to say...

There ya have it Roy. you did your part, and in turn, i did my part and reported the refund here, for you, and the world to see.

tho i got my money back, and that was NOT my attempt by wiring my first review last April. i got my point across in my frist post from over a year ago.
the product is not the best, far from it to be honest,
if anyone here is going to invest into the " special price " of 199.95 please seek out the the other company.

i cashed that check with no problem, being as tho its not the first time my name was spelled wrong on a check before...

as for the ram mount, its the one i should have gone with in the first place.

i was not trying to be rude, hatful or anything like that in the thred here.
over a year ago i posted my opinion on the product, i did not come here, for the world to see, in search of a refund.
i came here simply for the fact that i know what its like out here on the road, im a truck driver! with lap tops becoming more affordable, more and more people are buyi1ng them for their trucks, for many different reasons,
i know what its like to get a check one week for over 1k, and a check the next week for less then $100.
i came here to put MY veiws and opinions about the product, to make others aware of this cheaply made product. for some this is a big invesment, and it would not be far for guys who are workin hard to make ends meet to buy this product after much begging and convincing to their wives that its a " must have " and end up in the same boat as me.
yes, i did fire back at Roy, and his company on here publicly, because it was the right thing to do. i made my attemps to contact him a year and a half ago. but he chose to come here, so i followed right behind him...
do i think his product is good? no. not even close.
do i think his company is a good company? not even close!
i come from a huge family of bussiness owners. i do know how some things should 1be taken care of!
i would never recomend anyone buy this lap top stand.
Roy came here and was told more then once to keep the advertisement out of the TTR, and he couldnt fight the erg not to, hence the reason he was banned.
how can you trust someone who cant even test the waters on here. had he givin it some time, he would have been able to slowly intoduce his product in a less discreet manner.
the only good person was Tony, but even at that i did catch him in a solid lie too, so maybe not even him, but he was at least willing to answer my phone call and talk to me about the matter.

i honestly do hope that i can save others from making the mistake i did and consider either building their own, or going with the ram mount.
