If I win lottery, I'll get him to build me a fun motor!
Oxbow Thanks this. -
Ok, one more time. 5ek,6ts,1lw, 5ds 40 pin ecm engines. 2ws,1mm 70 pin ecms. All these are 3406e. Model engines use same heads. Mbn,6nz, 7cz, also 70 pin ecm engines with sculptured blocks. Use same head as all previous ones listed. bxs, Mxs, nxs. Acert engines, same heads different valve springs and a few other little differences. 5ds, 1mm, 7cz have a 6.75 stroke crank. All others have 6.5 stroke crank. Acert engines have a 6.75 stroke crank but wider rod journals with 4 bolt rod caps. C18 is same block as all c-15 engines as is head. But have a 7.2 stroke crank. With larger pistons. The 5ds, 1mm, 7cz also use a larger piston but not as large as c-18. You can inter change all these cranks from a b to an acert block as some other parts.
cswolley, Wheeljack, Daniel Otto and 6 others Thank this. -
Oxbow and Intothesunset Thank this.
-
It is also my understanding, that they will bolt on and can be used on the acert blocks, is that correct?
Now on the cranks, are you saying that a b model crank can be interchanged with anything up to an acert block? That one is surprising, if that is the case. -
I bought one I know nothing about it besides that it’s a power house -
Wheeljack, Tug Toy, Cottonmouth85 and 3 others Thank this.
-
Tug Toy, wore out, starmac and 1 other person Thank this.

Yes and no on the cranks. Yes cranks will physically interchange as the journal sizes are the same. The gear on the snout of crank will need to match engine series. Tone rings and such for mechanical or electronic yada yada
Oxbow, Cottonmouth85, wore out and 2 others Thank this.
