I saw a few openings for Cypress Truck Lines in the area that I live in that would get me home "every night". Mount Holly, NC area. Is anyone on that account and if so how many miles do you average and what's the pay like? I'm extremely happy with the company I'm with now but taking a slight paycut would be worth being home more often, possibly every night in my opinion.
I appreciate it!

but be FOREWARNED, that dedicated accounts are for say 3 to 5 years at a time, usually.
come contract time, the customer is free to put the contract up for bids..
anyone so much as a dollar lower might get the contract.
anyone with so much as $10.00 might get the contract.
if you get ANY dedicatred jhob, anyplace, if you have morons working there, and contract time comes.....
it's a 50/50 chance if you got a job or not..
sometimes too however, the new company hires the old help, but here too.....at what rate?
don't like the new pay rate/benefits, etc.>??
they tell you..."don't let the door hit you in the butt on your way out"..
been there, done that..... -
