i saw a bunch of them up and down 85 in nc today. there was 1 pete that was in decent shape, had "drivers wanted 1800******** company dot com" all over the tarps and on the trailer and mudflaps. the rest were run down freightshakers.

hey guys i got a prehire about 2 weeks ago from cypress and then got a call from terri saying they were not bringing in any trainees or exsperienced drivers until after june 1st because of the economy/low turnover. A friend of mine went through roadmaster and got a job rite out of school with cypress, thats been about a year ago but he quit, always late on pay,and truck had a bad air leak so he pulled over, well they wanted him to drive the truck anyways so he thought maybe i can make it, about 5 miles he almost was in a accident because of the brakes, so he pulled over again and again was told to drive it anyways but he would not. They jumped all over him, basicly he told them to take their pos trucks and shoove them up their as***. but thats just what i was told...i myself am looking at may trucking at the moment.

Cypress is a good company. i drove for them from 98-00, then went back in the military. For the one that said Cypress was Ploof and they went bankrupt, Cypress bought out Ploof. Yes there trucks are older than other companies but keep in good shape. I would recommend to anyone, but it has been 9 years so dont know how they are now
