I don't pull over if someone appears to be driving crazy beside me either. No offense. He may not have seen debris if oversize. Depending on where contact was made. I don't pull over without being a marked police vehicle. Too many instances of drivers being robbed, killed, etc. If I see collision it's a different story.

Two sides to every story. Why wouldn't you have called the police right away? Something smells a little fishy

Yes, you are! And, I'm so grateful to you . . . My insurance company is already on it! I'll keep you posted. Before yesterday, I had no idea about a trucker website or forum. Live and learn . . . You have been very helpful "good buddy!"

Because it freaked me out, going 70 miles down the freeway and debris flying. I didn't know what happened. I wanted him to stop and discuss. So, I got on the phone once I got home and started my investigation. The only thing that smells "fishy" is your comment. Authorities have been notified for your information.

That does make sense. We live in a crazy world these days. This incident really freaked me out; it could have ended in a bad way causing a wreck or someone being hurt. Thank God that did not happen! I feel blessed it was no worse than what it was. Thanks for your comment.

You didn't know because your attention was directed at your cell phone making that text message. Anyone paying attention to the road would without a doubt see a truck that is hauling an oversize load come into their lane and react appropriately by moving or swerving to avoid a collision.

This is what's called a quick money grab. Your trying to get big bucks from the big truck.

Ok now your earlier post said you called the police the day after, now this one says you got on the phone when you got home? Which is it?

If it was me I would have called 911 and given a description over the phone as well as the location just to have it all on record. Making accusations after the fact Without a police report is kind of fishy

Seems fairly genuine to me. You're coming at it pretty hard tho. Maybe a bit of laying off is in order? After all, how much do you have invested in it, unless you're the guy that creamed her or that she drifted into? (I give both sides equal cred, because I don't really know, wasn't there, and I'll let the insurance / authority sort it out). Only suggesting that a bit of 'meh, F it' is in order.
