Congrats on your payoff!

somebody have a idea how much is to pay for the name change on the title
-
That varies from state to state.. Maybe $25 or $50?? There's no telling unless a member from FL knows.. Carry a checkbook and a couple hundred cash you should be good to go... You may or may not get the title in hand.. In TN they mail it to you and that can take several weeks....

is there sales tax associated with registering new owner?
-
Did you lease the truck? Otherwise title should be in your name with the lien holder signed off. If you're trying to transfer the truck from your ne to your company's name, you'll have to pay title transfer and sales tax based on market value if you're doing this in FL.

That has to be a great feeling to finally get your trk paid off.

I was buying my truck from a freight liner dealer in cedar rapids,mi the title is in mine name, only with the address from the company in illinois ,what i work.now i will not change my address to florida,i am thinking to change before i sale next year my truck maybe

Your really don't need to change the address on the title, it's not like a drivers license. If you do switch to a FL title, as long as you don't change the owners name, you won't have to pay sales tax. I wouldn't worry about it though. My trailer was titled in IL, and I sold it after I paid it off with no problems.
gerardo1961 Thanks this.
