I know this company inside and out. It's entire history from day 1. And I can tell you thereis a lot shady stuff going on over there. Upper management is filled snake oil salesmen. All over paid and underqualified. The entire family that built the company was essentially run out the door after Tim Buffington bought out his former partner Dan Dowd. Schneider offered to buy the company recently from Tim for somewhere between 43-46 million dollars. Apparently he turned it down wanting 50+ millions dollars. The greed that has taken over there is incredible. Robbie Ballard is a used car saleman if I have ever seen one. Here is a guy who worked for a group that had 20+ trucks leased to D&T and was highered in as upper management. Does anyone smell a conflict of interest? He also brought in all his little minions from Triple R Mechanical, which they ran into the ground. All making upwards of 70K+ per year. Drivers and key personnel get underpaid so the salaries of a few underqualified overpaid puppets can be paid. Drivers come and go through a revoling door. The drivers that have been since day one get basically #### on. There roughly 5 drivers that have stuck through since the beginning. All the rest have bailed for greener pastures. If you have no problem being nothing more than a truck number on a board then join D&T. If you want to be a name then seek employment elsewhere. Greed runs rampant at D&T Trucking. I truely wish they would rename the company. I can assure you, there is no part of Dan & Trish Dowd left in the company. The heart and soul of D&T was cut a little over year ago. The rest of key internal workings were soon cut out piece by piece. Some wounds never heal. That company was built by the Dowd and Worley family. The Worley's are still there. But have been holed up in the safety department. Who takes the guy that got you every contract you have ever had and sticks him in safety? Makes perfect sense to me!

This is absolutely true! It used to be a true "first in, first out" dispatch. After the regime change that quickly went out the window. All company trucks and Robbie Ballards trucks are moved first. I witnessed Robbie on multiple occasions move his trucks into gravy runs despite the fact they were at the bottom of the dispatch list or logistically in the wrong spot.
