I am thinking the early d12a had different smaller injectors? But then again maybe not. I have found when researching for this tool awhile back that the D12c had Lucas injectors and the d12d has delphi which where used in d13’s also. Here is my thread explaining a few things. I never did send the first tool back like I stated as I found out the newer updated tool is the same as the older style only that the optional part is for the the d13 with the conical injectors and SS cups. I used the older style tool with the swedgebit and it worked just fine. I also know that the pre egr d12c used the same bit also. I will take measurements and report back.

    • That is nearly a millimeter and half too big. I finally had the dealer send a guy out to install the cups. I'll finish the rest next week.
