d13 oil leak from back side of the engine

    So I took the truck to a Volvo dealers in Seattle for timing plate leak I’ll keep everybody posted deal says they’ll start on it this Monday and will take a week

    Finally got mine back from the shop - when I went to pick it up and leave I heard a leak from around the turbo....back into the shop for a couple of days....they had to "fix" their reinstallation problems...at least they didn't charge me....I know it was best to go to the dealer for this job for the warranty, but I plan to avoid as much as possible in the future and go to the small shops.....

    Make sure they check your bull gear and idler while they have it open - and ask for a clutch wear readout (ishift?)

    I agree smaller shops better, this will be the only time I use the dealership for this leak they told me there going to tear it down and let me know if it needs anything once it’s apart. So how much was your bill? Did they clean the oil mess that was everywhere? If possible can you post the receipt with price everything they did, maybe cover up your info for privacy. Also how long did it end up talking them?
