Truck is 2009 Volvo D13 with 650k miles. This truck was driven about a year and always passive regen was starting about every 3000miles. Now it started to ask "manual regen request", also every 3k miles, passive regen doesn't start.
Why passive regen not working? Maybe should clean doc/dpf? Or replace doser?

Has the doser ever been cleaned or replaced? Is the parked regen taking the same amount of time as a passive regen?

Need to make sure your doser (also called after treatment injector) is good. Replace for good measure especially if it's never been changed. Might want to consider replacing the sensors on the intake side, like the intake manifold and the EGR differential pressure sensors if your engine has those. There should be another sensor plugged in to the DPF itself, DPF differential pressure sensor, change it too if it hasn't been changed. They don't last forever.
This is about all I know about this..Johny41 Thanks this. -
No I dont think doser ever cleaned. We already replaced ipam, egr delta, dpf delta sensors.

#22423053 is the Volvo part # for the harness that is used for the new sensor to adapt to truck so you don't have to buy the whole kit.

Truck started to ask regen like every 400miles and need to run regen twice to complete it. So now we replaced doser injector. Everything went back to normal regen every 2500-3000miles.
KB3MMX, Socal Xpress and pittbull670 Thank this.
