My husband is a recent school grad and has applied to many companies.
Here is the problem, a few weeks ago he applied online to USA and talked to a recruiter. She ran all of his records, background etc and was approved. She instructed him to call back in April to set up orientation. In the meantime, he applied with a local company that has better pay, hometime etc. They ran his DAC and informed him that USA put on his DAC that they terminated him. ???? He then called the USA recruiter and asked about his application, she said he was approved and wanted to schedule his orientation!!?? He asked her why she put on his DAC that he was terminated. With nervousness in her voice, she said she didn't know because he was never employed with them. She told him he would have to contact DAC to resolve the matter. :biggrin_25510: Why would USA put that on his DAC when he was never employed? It's funny that they reported he was terminated, but they still want him to come to orientation! I know drivers get screwed every day for false DAC reports. Where do we go from here?? Thanks!

    .
I doubt that USA put this on his DAC. I would lean toward the other guy looking for an out.

To be safe, I would get a copy of my DAC, and own USA if it was true.

I wouldn't dispute it...I would sue the living #### out of them.

If true, this isn't a simple mistake. And there wouldn't be happy faces all around wanting to correct a mistake.

Thanks for the reply, but I really doubt if the other company is looking for an out. They didn't have to tell him what USA reported on his DAC. They just wanted to know why he was "terminated". My husband told them how can I be terminated, if I was never employed by them?! They are contacting USA to find out why he was so called "terminated". Even if USA doesn't respond, the company plans on hiring him. I just don't understand why USA would report that? What do they gain by making a false report?
    Thanks!

They gain a driver. Most places frown upon a termination and the driver's only option is to wait around for orientation.

Most likely, it will be removed if it's there. If what you stated is true.

When a company goes after/questions another company regarding false information, it generally gets corrected quickly. I've seen this happen on more than one occasion.

There are many good companies out there willing to question/confront DAC subscriber members, and their ethics. Unfortunately, we hear more about the bad ones.
