DAC Help Please

    *looking to have this moved to the new driver questions section*

    Well I can say that I think the dream of the open road is starting to slip away; I got my "DAC" report back from HireRight and at a first glance it looked good. The "Drug/Alcohol Disclosure" and "Transportation Employment History" came up clean ... HOWEVER, the "Inquiry History Report" (IHR) shows my time with a temp agency and one job in particular dating back to 2005, for which I was let go for a failed drug test ("Drug Testing" is listed on the line below the job). Do trucking companies see the IHR as part of a DAC request? I'm guessing if they do I can kiss trucking goodbye. Any advice is greatly needed.

    Unfortunately they look at your DAC first thing. However, if you have a good explanation, companies may overlook it as long as you pass all future tests.

    I am not positive on this next part. Yet you may be able to dispute it given how old it is on your DAC. Maybe one of the other people more familiar with this can help.
