i have 2 incidences at my previous employer..i have 6 months experience mind you i got 1 week of training when i signed on
1.ran over grass at a coca cola warehouse the DAC report says alleged damage
    2. i tapped a pole very minor scratches to the front corner of the cab the employer never took pics or ran a insurance claim.. city is marked wrong on the report...

so heres my questions and how do i stop my previous employer from destroying my reputation when applying to a company..

i applied to 4 companies they all said i had to many incidences..
my DOT record is 100% clean no tickets commercial or class D driving no DOT accidents
i asked fedex ground if they request a dac report they said they call my employer direct and my employer keeps a file on me that fedex asks them about
so even if i hire dacfix.com i still wont get hired because my employer destroys my reputation dacfix says they deal with my previous employer alot..
its like im a felon who went wreck lace driving and did 1,2m in damage ....
how do i fix this and how do i get my reputation restored..

    2 incidents in 6 months...
that will make many companies not hire you...

your company did not ruin your reputation, you tarnished it yourself.

Find a reputable company, be truthful with them from the beginning about the 2 non reported incidents, and get hired. Not all companies subscribe to Hireright.

You won't get a better answer than the one @TLeaHeart gave you. There just isn't a whole you can do about those "incidents" or what that company says to a potential employer. Try to find a company that doesn't check or doesn't care.

What is the definition of a real trucker? a 1/2 million miles on pavement? how about 2 years of 115,000 gross, mostly on gravel and dirt?

I have been there and done both of those... so Yes, I do know....

And companies that use Hireright, will look at two incidents in 6 months as a warning flag... that they do not want.

Ok, you said let a real trucker answer? I started driving in 1987' I have zero accidents/inccedent, a spotless driving record,, do I qualify?

TLeaheart is correct! Your company didn't tarnish your record, you did, stop blaming others for your mishaps, that's the adult thing to do, and a step in the right direction, once you do this? Things will start getting better for you

ill admit it guys gals your all right i fudged up i know it you know it they know it BUT that being well known shouldn't legally give an employer a right to destroy future employment opportunities given i havent told you half of why i quit i quit schneider after being told to pick up a trailer from general mills in illinois there were 4 illegal tires on that trailer one was lumpy i refused to move the trailer they told me to drive it to a shop i said no because i gathered that they are strict about incidences they then proceded to tell me it was to expensive to send a tire guy out i said fudge you im not moving i told my manager i thought you cared about safety and they got mad and agreed to send a guy out mind you if that tire blew schneider calls that a incident.. and then 2 weeks prior i did a full pre trip got pulled into a weigh station they did a level 2 inspection they ran the plates of witch were over 3 days expired mind you there marked for ever plates i had to drive 600 miles to fight a gross misdemeanor because no prior trucker mechanic or schneider staff member bothered to update the trailer log information on the qual comm and they pre loaded this trailer sent me out in it knowing it was internally marked out of service of wich i didn't know because no one updated the information and thank goodness those charges dropped.... and trucking companies expecually need more regulation even from a economical aspect if 1-4 drivers cant drive any more due to 2 incidences of wich are non DOT ACCIDENTS non DOT TICKETS INCENDENCES OR ANY DOT ISSUES are very minor and the fact that companies treat it like you committed vehicular homicid is stupid!!! yeah i only had 5 months experience yeah my training was #### yeah i am upset at my lack of ability to perform the job to the highest standards of public safety yeah im mad at my self and at schneider i believe rightfully so..
