I have been driving for 4 months and have been let go by a major carrier US express for having to many preventable accidents. I have 2 Preventables on my DAC. One for hitting low bridge in Chicago (no marking for height on bridge). It still was my fault and take resposibility. Number 2 I hit a parked car at loading dock. Neither accident appears on my MVR. No cops at either accident. I have a clear MVR. How much emphasis is put on a Dac report when MVR is clear.

It depends some companies don't even use the DAC. I would apply where I wanted to go and then explain what happened if they ask about my previous accidents. Most companies have a place for listing those on their application.

You may have a few turn you down, but you should be able to get back in a truck.:biggrin_25515:

I think that most companies realize that DAC is flawed. Some companies tend to ding it for no reason and sometimes for spite. The thing to do is realize that it will be on there for 7 years I believe. Just make sure that when you apply to someone that you don't try to hide anything. Most will require you to sign a release so they can check your DAC.
