Okay so here is the deal. I trained and worked at Prime Inc. I already had my CDL when I got hired on. I was supposed to be out with my trainer for 30,000 miles and then brought back to Springfield to upgrade and get my own truck. Long story short, due to a ticket resulting from a lady rear ending our trailer in Montana and 2 safety violations because our trailers had super sensitive sensors on them (one was a hard brake, one was when I took an exit a bit too fast, I was still in training btw) nothing resulted in damage or injury. Now on my DAC report Prime listed my work history as "unsatisfactory safety record". This has prevented me from finding employment with companies including Swift and JB Hunt (go figure). My question is are there any companies that run OTR that will take me on. I also have a glowing email from my trainer confirming that I am indeed a safe and courteous driver.
Any help would be appreciated. Judgment will be ignored. Thanks.

Your trainer may have thought you was a good driver but his word is not law. You'll have to take what you can get till those marks erase from your record. So with that said try crengland and Carolina cargo.

Secondly, I see a HUGE class action lawsuit against DAC in the horizon...I cannot see how a subjective report is allowed to have ramifications (negative) to someone's ability to find meaningful employment. It's not like having a felony etc....jus' sayin'HopeOverMope, sealevel, KillingTime and 3 others Thank this. -
there is no such thing as a dac report. it is a joke to control turnover amongst the megas like swift werner sni go get a real truck driving job ltl or foodservice if you like working out

How do you receive a ticket when someone rear ends you?? Was this when your sensors went off for hard braking?
