I have only had a Class "C" CDL when I drove 1 ton cargo van for Panther expedited. I am considering going to school for class "A" and was wondering if my quitting Panther would be there. Also I did start Swift's Acadamy in Millington, TN between Christmas 2004 and New Year's 2005 but had to leave after three days when I got a call from home that my father was gravely ill. he did pass away on new years day, and i did not return to the school. because of the situation I left in good standing with them. and thoughts? Thanks!

Yes, it should all be on your DAC. Check out hireright website. You can get your DAC there for free. Takes a few days but they mail it to you. I believe truckers report has mentioned them before. You might be able to continue your schooling with swift. You may have to start over from the beginning though.

The easiest way is to contact DAC and request a copy of your DAC with your information. It's the only way you can be absolutely positive is to request it yourself. DAC Tulsa, OK 1-800-494-7517 or 918-664-9991

    Don't waste the time calling!

    Go HERE;;;; http://www.hireright.com/

Then on the right side of the home poage under services click on HireRight DAC Trucking

Under A Single Source for Employment Screening and Compliance Services:
click on the first line that says DAC employment history file.

On the right side of the next page under the title HireRight. DAC Trucking click on the third line that says CDL Driver DAC Report Request

In the center of the page under Requesting a Free Copy of Your Background Report
click on where it says in blue HirerRight consumer report request form and click on both boxes and fill in the boxes that open and click next read the next and click next and fill out the form and submit.

It can and has taken 30 days to get the free report. My advice is to apply to companies that use DAC as when anyone requests a DAC report DAC sends you a copy! I'd leave the "free" copy alone until it's really needed.

I'd suggest that everyone go to hireright.com and look all through the site and fill out anything you can about helping yourself such as having them with hold OLDER information that can have an adverse effect on your report and you being hired.
