Daily duties of Class B Frac Fuel drivers??

    Same parent company...apparently they are developing a bad rep in the patch. No way I would put in 2-4 hrs/day travel time for free. But...if they are filling the seats, that in itself is a big sign that these companies are having no trouble finding help.

    pilot bought western petroleum, and took over their frack fueling, crude hauling, and fuel hauling.... and to put it mildly, they fracked it all up...

    then pilot tried to expand the operations...

    Lack of management that know anything about the oil patch, and that filters down.

    Pilot seems good in beginning they are pretty good at selling themselves in recruiting process. Actually all is good until you report your 1st day of work, then welcome to the jungle. You will basically, at least I and many others I worked with, go through a maze of unknown.

    I went through issue after issue mostly with dispatch and payroll. Dispatch would have me go to X location told me had no lodging would have to come back hour half. Asked manager also said same thing, then lead of crew calls me says have hotel. This is classic Pilot, he said/she said. They have no structure and no scruples. Worked with cool crew from Laredo they hate those guys from terminal in Jourdanton. They drop their hours to 3 days on 3 off then 2 days on 2 off, keep in mind they are traveling in own car hours away on own dime. This is Pilot, you will never know what is coming at you. i put up with their BS until they called me to work my day ff to move trucks worked 16 hours, comp in truck didn't work used paper log. Payroll lady from hell says she never got it and didn't believe I worked. Never got paid. Never has that happened in my life!
