The case in Georgia was a scam.
The NUMEROUS cases in Memphis involving one particular towing company are definitely bordering racketeering/extortion(they’ve had their operating authority suspended twice for not following the proper rules and regulations regarding towing vehicles).

 

LOL we can tell who's the boss of this scam company

 

It will come to end sooner or later.

 

I payed and left to my next load wich was 10 miles away and I didn't want to keep arguing with that 300lbs p....s...

But I asked the scam artist if he liked his job and he said it's better then flipping burgers and dangerous.

 

That attitude enables them to continue their criminal behavior…

Technically, under the 4th amendment, no one can legally boot or tow for that matter a vehicle, even if illegally parked, without a court order (ie some judge has to sign off on it). Or so I would think. Even cops cant have you towed without a judge being involved.

Fourth Amendment

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

In order to be "seized", under the 4th amendment, a "warrant" must be issued... This is where the judge part comes in.
