Dallas T/A Parking Ticket

Funny that Barstow Pilot was mentioned because Hubby and I were parked at the Barstow TA one evening when someone started pounding on our door yelling 'Move your truck, NOW'.
We were parked legally and couldn't figure out what was going on, until we looked outside. A grass fire had started in the 'gully' behind the parking lot and was edging toward the lot. About 20-25 trucks had to be moved to allow the fire trucks to get closer to put out the fire. Don't know how many had to be moved from the Fire Lane to allow them to get into the lot.

 

C'mon, it's California, it's Engrish......

Don't block the fire lanes, just park on the fuel pumps like the truck yesterday at the Pilot in Tifton, GA. It was there 45 minutes with no one around and the window down. Next time I'll just stick a water hose in the window and turn it on and watch the fun.

Funny.
